Following a competitive sales process with Renewal SA, Urbanlux Constructions has secured 1.7 hectares of state government land at Kloeden Reserve, marking the company’s first investment in regional Whyalla and a significant vote of confidence in the city’s future.
Urbanlux will subdivide the site into 30 allotments, delivering both serviced land and 10 newly constructed homes. These homes will be leased back to the state government to house essential workers across education, healthcare and law enforcement, directly supporting the local workforce and the wider growth of the region.
More than a construction project, Kloeden Reserve reflects Urbanlux Constructions’ commitment to long-term partnerships and community outcomes. The company intends to engage local trades and suppliers, create jobs, and contribute to Whyalla’s economy as a consistent, trusted partner rather than a short-term developer. The homes themselves are designed to balance comfort, functionality and environmental responsibility.
Civil works and construction are scheduled to begin in 2026, delivering thoughtfully designed homes that locals can be proud of and that strengthen Whyalla’s future as a city on the rise.
